Delray Beach, FL- Alice Lott Shaffer 88, passed away on March 10, 2011 in Florida.
Alice was born in Central Bridge, NY. She was predeceased by her parents and a brother Arthur Lott. Alice had a long association with the Red Cross, first as a volunteer, then Director of Blood Services, Public Relations and Assistant manager. She was instrumental in bringing the Air Show to Schenectady and for several years was director of an "army" of volunteers. She was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church in Niskayuna, NY.
Alice was married to Paul Shaffer in 1982. They moved to Florida where she became active in her church, her community and her retirement home.
Survived by her husband and her brother, Warren Lott; 4 step children: Jane of Calgary, William of Boulder, CO, John of Miami and Sara of Delray Beach. A Memorial Service was held in Florida.
