Angela Geotes Blatnick, of Niskayuna passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday May 4, 2016.
Angela has been a resident of Niskayuna since 1941, she was a long time member of St. Helen's Church (now St. Kateri ), where she was a Eucharistic minister and a member of the alter society. She was also a Volunteer of St. Clare's Hospital Auxiliary Boutique. Angela was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and friend.
She was predeceased by her husband Carl M. Blatnick, sons David and Jeffrey Blatnick, her sister Alice Maloney and her daughter in-law Lou Ann.
Survived by her loving and devoted son Andrew J. Blatnick; daughter in-law Lori Blatnick: grandchildren, David, Amanda, Shane, Ian and Niki. Also survived by nephews, Michael and Mark and nieces Laurie, Amy and Maureen.
Calling hour will be held on Tuesday May 10th fro 4 PM to 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9 AM at St. Kateri,1803 Union St., (formerly St. Helen's), Niskayuna. Burial will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
Memorial contributions in Angel's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
