Anna Thomas, 92 passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Kingsway Nursing Home.
Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Farnum and Florence (Chisholm) Thomas.
Anna attended public school and was a graduate of Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT.
She retired as a programmer for General Electric Company in Schenectady.
She is survived by her sister Marilyn Thomas Van Buskirk of Niskayuna; her niece Martha (Floyd) Simone of Rexford; nephews Peter (Ellen) Van Buskirk of North Port, FL and Mark Van Buskirk of Schenectady; several grand nieces and grand nephews.
Funeral Services will be held in the spring and burial will be at Vale Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave, Scotia, NY 12302 or the Wildwood Foundation, 2995 Curry Road, Schenectady, NY 12303.
Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home, Inc., 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie.
