Schenectady-Bonnie Holcombe Kotary 84, of Schenectady passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021.
Born in Utica, NY, Bonnie grew up in Boonville, NY and was a Schenectady resident for 66 years.
She was the owner and operator of Ye Olde Yarn and Gift Shop on upper Union St. for 30 years and retired in 2009.
Bonnie is survived by her sons Raymond (Kathy) Kotary of Colonie and James (Pat) Kotary of Ohio, grandchildren Meaghan, Tommy, Joe, Serena, Kara, eleven great-grandchildren, and two nephews. Predeceased by her son Dexter Kotary.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady. Burial Friday, at North Gage Cemetery, Utica, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bonnie's memory may be made to the Heritage Hunters of Saratoga County, PO Box 270, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
