Catherine Ann Brodie

Catherine Ann Brodie, 65, passed away in her home in Niskayuna on January 29, 2015. Born in Boston, MA on June 1, 1949, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine Brodie.
She was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston, earning a degree in English.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William Zwicker, her daughter Portia Brodie Zwicker, brothers George and Kenneth Brodie, a nephew, and several nieces.
Catherine loved gardening, decorating and fixing up her house, traveling with Bill, listening to music (especially vocal music), singing in a chorus, and rooting for the New York Yankees.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 2:30 PM in Old Chapel on the Union College campus. A visitation from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM prior to the service in Old Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation at bbrfoundation.org.
