Schenectady- Charleen Martin Oboyski 43, of Schenectady, passed away Friday October 21, 2011 at Ellis Hospital.
Charleen was born November 14, 1967 in Schenectady, daughter of Marion Renus Olsen and Donald R. Martin Sr.
Charleen graduated from Niskayuna High School in 1986. She was last employed by Callahan Industries Inc. She was a member of the Schenectady Eagles Club.
Survived by her 2 daughters, Michelle Thornhill and Erin Oboyski; her mother Marion Olsen of Schenectady, her father, Donald R. Martin Sr. of Granville, NY; sister of Kathleen Gilbert of Florida, Colleen (Paul) Halliwell of Rotterdam, Donald (Stacy) Martin Jr. of Corinth, Daniel (Karen) Martin of Glenville, Dale (Kate) Martin of Glenville, nieces & nephews John & Jason Nicole, Ryan, Megan, & Mary Halliwell, Donald & Christina Martin, Shelbi & Carlie Martin, S.J. (Jess) Viva, Kenny & Austin Martin: great niece Jada. Special thanks to loving friends Bob Lavoy, Glen Brownell, Armond Tariello, Anna Guynup, Lenny Duncan and many more loving friends. Predeceased by her step-father Kenneth Olsen.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady for those who wish to call. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
