Rotterdam- Charles K. Salisbury 61, of Rotterdam, NY, passed away suddenly at Ellis Hospital with his loving family by his side on April 22, 2014. Born April 24, 1952 son of the late Irma Price Salisbury and George Charles Salisbury of Schenectady, NY. He was a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School class of 1970. Charles was an avid bowler and belonged to the Mont Pleasant Bowling League where he won several awards. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and confidant, he had one of the biggest hearts a person could have, he gave his heart and soul to his family close to him. He devoted himself to his loving wife Linda and loved to go on trips and sightseeing. He was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda Yager Salisbury, his 7 children, Tammy Salisbury, Keene Salisbury, Chad Salisbury of Amsterdam, Tammy (Paul) Toth, Annemarie (Clarence) Robst, Charles (Connie) Salisbury and Missy (Joseph) DeJesus of Rotterdam, NY. He is also survived by his 8 siblings, Gloria Salisbury of Tennessee, Edith (Tom) Ciccone of Schenectady, NY, Nelson (Bonnie) Salisbury of Florida, Lennie (Donna) Salisbury of Charleston, Gerald Salisbury of Amsterdam, NY Linda (Danny) Kingsland of Schenectady, NY, Donna (Art) Cole of Rotterdam, Mark (Sue) Salisbury of Rotterdam several nieces, nephews, cousins and 18 grandchildren which he loved with his whole heart.
Calling hours will be Friday April 25, 2014 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady.
A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 9 AM at St. Luke's Church 1241 State St. Schenectady. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, 2150 Central Ave., Schenectady,
