Alplaus, New York- SKCS Clifford L. Goble (USN Retired) passed on Friday, June 5th following a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Mary Goble, daughter Catherine Anne O'Brien, son Lawrence Goble, daughter Kathleen (Paul) Schnitzer, son Douglas (Sarah) Goble, grandsons Jon-David and Trevor, as well as an extended loving family throughout the country.
He will always be remembered as a kind soul who could make a person laugh with his quick wit or a joke. His love of family, country and God were a part of his everyday life through the many travels and travails throughout his lifelong journey. Not too long ago Cliff and Mary celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with his family on a cruise to Mexico, which will be one of the best family gatherings in memory.
As a 30-year Navy veteran, SKCS C.L. Goble will be interned at Saratoga National Cemetery on June 19th, at 1:30 PM with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Cliff's name to The American Cancer Society, which will benefit from two upcoming events that the family supports:
