Schenectady-, Danielle B. Dowen of Schenectady, died peacefully Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at home with her loving family by her side.
Danielle's infectious smile and charm coupled with her signature pink lipstick lit up every room she entered. She will be remembered by family and friends as a hard working, generous, selfless person who brought energy to every thing she was involved in.
Her greatest loves were her family, friends and her soulmate Jim to whom she was married to for 20 years.
Survived by her loving husband Jim; children, Tabitha Davidson, Richard Holowchak and the late Michael Holowchak; Stepchildren, Steven Dowen, James Dowen III and Jeffrey Dowen; 5 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren and many loving friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Friday at Noon at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady. Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Jones Funeral Home for those who wish to call. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery, Schenectady.
A special thanks to the staff in the Interventional radiology, CT and Oncology departments at Albany Medical Center for their care and concern. Any memorial donations may be made in Danielle's memory to the Albany Damien Center, 12 South Lake Ave., Albany, NY 12203.
