Assisted by the Partisans of Yugoslavia, he returned to the states to instruct classes at his base in San Marcos, Texas.
After discharge, he worked for the General Electric Company briefly and then Schenectady County for 38 years, finally retiring from his position as County Auditor. He was active in Kiwanis and local Polish-American community and veteran's groups and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. He also served as Treasurer of the Mt. Pleasant Federal Credit Union for many years. He always enjoyed the company of others, listening to music and any opportunity to dance. On occasion, he was known to pull out his harmonica.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Karen and her husband Kenneth of Saratoga Springs, his son, Randall Nisiobincki and his wife, Lori, and three grandchildren, Lauren, Jillian and Henry Nisiobincki all of Cleveland, Ohio.
