Emeline “Mickey” Kennedy, 103 years old and formerly of Clifton Park Road,  passed away peacefully at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center on February 26, 2024.

She was born and raised in Nashville, TN. Mickey was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Joseph W. Kennedy and one brother, Dempsey Doyle.

She is survived by her children Patricia Kennedy (Keith) Barney of Niskayuna, Joseph (Julietta) Kennedy of Fairport, NY, and Michael (Margaret) Kennedy of Ticonderoga, NY. Grandchildren, Shannon (Stephen), Kevin (Roseanne), Sean (Lisa), Brian, Patrick (Afifah Aljunied,) Daniel, Ryan (Rachel Lim) and Great Grandchildren, Margaret, Grace, Jack, Morgan, Brandon, Kaylee, Jay, Julian, Jessica (Adam), Jeremiah and Great-great grandchild Elliott. As well as many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank staff and friends at The Glen Eddy her wonderful home for thirteen years. We are profoundly grateful for the personal and professional care provided for her by the management and staff of the C-Wing at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center, during her stay there.

The family also thanks Debbie Cox from Home Instead for all the help she provided to Mickey for the past 14 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00am Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at St. Kateri of Tekakwitha Church, 1803 Union Street, Niskayuna. Entombment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Monday, March 4 at Jones Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie.
