James Edward Bradt

Albany- James "Jim" Edward Bradt of Avila passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on Thursday, March 17th.
Born in Schenectady to the late Kenneth and Mary Bradt on October 6, 1944.
Jim was a graduate of Bishop Gibbons High School and the University of South Carolina where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Jim was retired from GE Research & Development Center in Niskayuna where he worked for over 25 years.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Jeanne Elizabeth Bradt, his eldest son David C. Bradt (Kim), his daughter Jocelyn N. Pleat (Tom) and two other sons Michael and Daniel Bradt. He is also survived by four brothers Richard, Kent, Jack and Mark and predeceased by his brother William.
At Jim's request there will be no funeral or memorial services. Those wishing to honor his memory may make a donation to their favorite charity. He asked for so little but gave so much. Treasured in our hearts, he will stay forever.
