James J. Parisi

James J Parisi, landscaper, barber and a man who loved his family passed away on August 6, 2015, at 76 years old. He was born in Schenectady NY to Mary (Tomaso) Parisi and James P Parisi on February 13, 1939. He married Donna (Dunham) Parisi and moved to Ballston Lake NY where they and their two children enjoyed country living.
"Jimmy" is remembered by his friends and family as being a big spirit, with a huge personality. Through the years, he enjoyed basketball, skiing and family gatherings, where he was "chief" cook. He and Donna spent endless hours with their children, nieces and nephews, enjoying many activities.
Later on Jimmy enjoyed riding his golf cart, taking his great-grandson, Dylan, and great-nephews and nieces for rides through the yard. He loved dogs and always had a bag of treats on hand for when his grand-dogs visited. Jimmy owned Don-Mar Landscaping & Greenhouses where he worked hard from sunrise to sunset for many years and that brought him much happiness.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James P and Mary (Tomaso)Parisi. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Dunham) Parisi; son, Eric Parisi; daughter, Shereen (Parisi) Raucci; grandson Joshua Kislowski; grandson Scott (Karen) Kislowski and great grandson, Dylan Kislowski; brother, Frank (Marilyn) Parisi; sister Annette(Darryl) Botsford; sister Diana(Richard) Ippolito, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Jones Funeral Home 1503 Union St. , (at McClellan St,) on Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM with a funeral service at 7 PM . Interment will be Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.
