Loudonville- Jane Gray Rollins, 98, a longtime resident of Loudonville passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at Glendale Home in Glenville, NY.
Born on October11, 1924 in Bangor, Maine, she was the only child of Sewell and Marion Gray Rollins.
Jane grew up in Maine and was a 1947 graduate of Colby College in Waterville, ME and a 1948 graduate of Simmons College, School of Library Science.
She held positions at Bard College, Mount Vernon Public Library, Skidmore College, and the New York State Library, Division of Library Development, retiring August 15, 1990.
Survivors include her cousin Susan Burgdorf and family of Broad Brook, CT as well as many good friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 31st at Jones Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie.
Burial will be at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery in Bangor, Maine.
