Niskayuna- Jean Reid Bollinger, 84, of Niskayuna, NY, died suddenly on Sunday, December 14, 2008.
Born in Schenectady, NY, daughter of the late Dr. Ralph and Mildred Bailey Reid. Jean was a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Fine Art.
She was a member of Niskayuna Reformed Church, where she was the organist for many years. Jean was also a member of Music Study Club in Niskayuna and she enjoyed gardening.
Survived by her husband of 59 years, Lawrence R. Bollinger; three sons, David Bollinger and his wife Judith of Pittsfield, MA, Richard Bollinger and his wife Iris of White Oak, PA and James Bollinger of Loudonville, NY; five grandchildren, David Bollinger, Lisa Bollinger, Rachel Gurevich and her husband Ilya, Jessica Naditch and her husband Josef and Evan Bollinger and his wife Amy; one sister, Barbara Watson of Seminole, FL, one sister in-law, Barbara Greene and her husband Allen of Louisville, KT, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services an Monday, December 22, 2008 at 10 AM at Niskayuna Reformed Church, Troy-Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Burial will be in Historic Vale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are requested to a charity of ones choice.
