Jeanne F. Breault

Jeanne Fitzgerald Breault passed away peacefully on May 13 with her loving family by her side. She was 91 years old.
She was born on Sept. 27, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of Walter and Olive Fitzgerald. She was raised in Garden City, Long Island before relocating to Schenectady following her marriage to her husband, Dr. Robert Breault in 1947 to whom she was married for 66 years.
She was a graduate of Garden City High School and Skidmore College in 1946 with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. She was a faithful communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and was a substantial contributor for many years to the Medical Society Auxiliary of Schenectady County. She also was an active member of the Caduceus Garden Club and served for many years as a volunteer aide at Ellis Hospital.
Jeanne's love of artistry was manifested throughout her life by her numerous artistic sketches and paintings. She exhibited a number of these at art exhibitions throughout the region during her lifetime. She was also a collector of fine antiques which were prominently displayed throughout both her home in Schenectady and the cabin in the Adirondacks she shared with her husband.
She is survived by her children, Dr. Michael Breault and his wife Linda and Patricia Breault Fetcho, RN and her husband Ronald Fetcho. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and their spouses, David Breault and his wife Ellie Burhans, Nicholas Breault and his wife Heather Scheer, Sarah Fetcho Kalinkewicz and her husband Justin Kalinkewicz and Elizabeth Fetcho Frear and her husband Matthew Frear along with her great-grandson, Samuel Frear whom she adored. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Dr. Richard Breault and his wife, Marlene along with their three sons. The family would like to thank all of the caregivers tending to Jeanne over the years at the Ellis Medicine's Residential Center in Schenectady.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Schenectady. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private for family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any contributions in Jeanne's honor be given to The Foundation For Ellis Medicine or the Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation.
