John P. Esposito of Rosa Road passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Ellis Hospital. He was 94.
Born on June 24, 1920 in Schenectady, son of the late Thomas and Genovieve (Ferrara) Esposito.
John was a carpenter by trade, but enjoyed the outdoors more than anything. An avid hunter and fisher, he would love to hike into the Adirondacks to find the best spots to fish.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret (Gough) Esposito and step-son, Frank (Ronda) Pagliante of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, his children, Joan Manley of Miami, FL, Debra Countermine and husband Donald of Pattersonville, four grandchildren, Valerie Kolski, Don Countermine, Richard Parkis and Justin Countermine. Also survived by several nephews, and special thanks to his nephew Robert Esposito and his good friend Kevin Pomeroy who assisted in his care.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a son, Richard Esposito, and his siblings, Harry, Tony, Berlin and Linda.
A memorial service will be held at 9am on Saturday, May 16 at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, Rosa Road Campus.
