John Madigan

Schenectady-John T. Madigan 74, of Keyes Avenue, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 6, 2008, at home. Born in Schenectady, son of the late Earl and Margaret Lyman Madigan. John graduated from Schenectady High School, New England Conservatory and Union College. John was a concert pianist and gave a concert at one time with the Boston Pops. He spoke seven languages fluently, in his later years he work in the Finance Department with the City of Schenectady and retired a few years ago. Survived by his sister, Joan Mauro and her husband Joseph of Schenectady; nephew,David Mauro and his wife Michele of Niskayuna; two grandnephews, John and Jason Mauro. There will be no calling hours. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
