John worked in the Financial and Computer Departments at Ellis Hospital, where he retired from in the late 1990's.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Austin Peabody and his son William T. Peabody.
Services and burial will be private. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308.
