Judith A. Redmond 70, of Rotterdam, passed away Thursday October 30, 2014 after a short battle with cancer at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She is on her journey to the promise land.
She was born in Albany on April 11, 1944.
Judith was a Health Care provider, retiring from Glendale Nursing Home. She served others doing private duty care giving. Judith enjoyed Bingo with her special friend Gloria Palma and her grandchildren. She loved sports and the "Rocky Trilogy".
She is survived by her children, Robin (Gordon) Pollard, Susan Redmond, Lawrence (Jennifer Moak) Redmond, Robert (Mary) Redmond; her siblings, Bruce Layman, Kerry Layman, Linda Pendergast, Bonnie Layman and the late Barbara Ryder; also her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Judy's family would like to thank the ICU Staff at Ellis and RN Danielle.
At Judy's request, there will be no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers donations in Judy's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
