Julie P. Mcdonald

Julie Paulus McDonald died on August 8, 2015 at the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She had lived in Ohio and Pennsylvania until her move to Niskayuna, New York in 1995. Julie is survived by sons, James (Lisa) McDonald of Schenectady, NY and William McDonald of Reno, NV; grandchildren, Nicolaus Brooks-McDonald and Ethan Brooks-McDonald of Schenectady, NY, Nathan (Emery) McDonald of Niskayuna, NY, and Xavier McDonald of Madison, WI; great grandchildren, Jake, Brookelyn, and Zac of Niskayuna, NY; and loved ones, Julie Cupp and Viki Brooks. Julie was born to Helen and James Paulus in Canton, OH on May 31, 1920 and attended the University of Pittsburgh; she was predeceased by four brothers, John Paulus and Harry Paulus of Pittsburgh, PA, Peter Paulus of FL and a sister, Helen Hawkins of Canton, OH. A Eucharist of the Resurrection and Inurnment will be held on Friday, August 14, at 11:00 am at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1935 The Plaza, Schenectady, NY. The family and friends will gather afterwards at Begley Hall at Saint Stephen's. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund at Saint Stephen's Church or to the Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The family expresses gratitude for the loving care given by the congregation of Saint Stephen's, the staff of Baptist Health Center, and to all her caregivers.
