Kathy Berning of Rotterdam, NY passed away April 24, 2015 at Ellis hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer while
surrounded by loving family and friends. Kathy was pre-deceased by her mother Elizabeth K. Waldron father Robert H. Simpson,
she was survived by her fiance Eric Nejman, sister Deidra Simpson, brother Bob Simpson, sister-in-law Kelly Simpson, niece and nephew
Haley and Robert Simpson who were both very dear to her, as well as cousins, aunts,uncles and many wonderful friends.
Kathy worked at Capitol Care and loved working with her co-workers and great friends. Kathy was a very very special person who will
be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her family and friends.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Albany St. Schenectady, NY
Memorial donations in Kathaleen's memory may be made to the National Breast Cancer Society.
