Lillian P. Drake

Lillian Payton Drake passed away peacefully November 11,2010. She was born Margaret Lillian Payton on March 22, 1926 in Rochester, NY.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Alvin John Drake. She lived many years in the Ithaca, NY area where she and "Bud" raised their family and she ran a successful beauty salon.
In later years Lillian moved to Round Lake and was a longtime member of Round Lake United Methodist Church where she regularly played her trumpet.
Lillian is survived by her children and their families: Donald Drake (Jane) ,Emily, and Sarah, of Rochester;Harold Drake(Debra), Chelsea, Todd and Carson of Ballston Lake;Bruce Drake(Linda), Brian and Justin of Greene; Gregory Drake, Jaime(Nicholas,Donny, Devin), Michele, and Ashley(Ava) of Round Lake; David Drake(Patty Anne), Samantha and Elisabeth of Gloucester, VA; Diana Hyatt(Jeff), Alexander, Stephanie, Rachel, and Sarah of Batavia, NY. She is also survived by her siblings Harold Payton(Joan) of Ithaca; Ivy Semeraro of Clifton Park; and Marion Longcoy of Ballston Lake, as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 10:30 Am at Round Lake United Methodist Church, 34 George St., Round Lake, NY with Rev. Jane Baker officiating. Burial will follow the service at 12:30 PM at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
