Lois M. Anderson

Lois M. Anderson 90, of Niskayuna, passed away suddenly on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Ellis Hospital.
Lois was born in New Jersey where she was a graduate of Sherwood Secretarial School. She married James Anderson in 1947, who predeceased her in 2000. They relocated to Niskayuna where Lois has been a resident for over 60 years. She was employed as a Personnel Assistant for 27 years at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady.
Lois was an active and dedicated member of Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church as well as an active member of the Sunnyview Alumni Club.
Loving mother to Jane C. (Robert) Agars of Clifton Park and James D. Anderson of Niskayuna and she was the beloved grandmother to Steven Agars.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday morning at 11 am at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady. Burial will follow the service in Park View Cemetery, Fehr Avenue. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 PM until 6 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made in Lois's memory to Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church, 943 Palmer Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12309.
