Nancy F. Dimoro

Colonie Nancy Ferraro Dimoro, 96, formerly of Sand Creek Road passed away Sunday October 1, 2023 at Teresian House in Albany. Born on February 5, 1927 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of Donato and Maria Domenicci (DiPace) Ferraro. Nancy worked for the State of NY where she worked at the Department of State, Department of Labor and retired in 1983 from the Department of Environmental Conservation as a senior stenographer. She was a communicant of Christ Our Light Church in Colonie. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing bingo, and spending time with family, especially her great grandson. Besides her husband Paul, she is pre-deceased by her beloved daughter Nancy (Cookie) Smith, her sister Viola Petrella, and brother Frank Ferraro. She is survived by her granddaughter Michelle (Joseph) Greco, great grandson Tristan Greco, son in law Carter Smith, Niece Ann Ferraro, nephews Frank and Dan Ferraro and families, great niece Lisa Duncan-Altieri and family and great nephew Michael Altieri and family. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 3 at Christ Our Light Church, Maria Drive, Colonie. A calling hour will be held from 10am to 11am at the church prior to the mass. Entombment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie.
