Schenectady - Ottilia A. Reinig, of The Heritage Home, Schenectady, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at The Avenue Nursing Home where she has been a patient since December.
Ottilia was born in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Michael Peter and Bertha (Hepting) Reinig.
Ottilia moved to Schenectady in 1955. She was a communicant of St. Helen's Church.
She is survived by her sister, Rita Slack of El Paso, Texas; seven nieces and nephews; ten grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Nicholas and Michael.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at St. Helen's Church, Niskayuna at 10 AM. There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Amsterdam.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ottilia's memory to The Heritage Home for Women, 1519 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12309.
