Paul J. Knittel 80, of Edinburgh, NY, formerly of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Friday July 14, 2017 with his loving family at his side.
Paul was born in Schenectady a son of the late Paul and Teresa Ravas Knittel. He graduated from Draper High School and work for over 30 years at General Electric in Schenectady as an Inspector. He married Barbara Weldon on January 18, 1958 at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Rotterdam.
Survived by his loving wife of 59 years. Barbara; children, Paul, Christopher, Valerie and Patrick; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 22, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Cyril and Method Cemetery, 611 Duanesburg Rd., Rotterdam, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations in Paul's memory may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
