Phyllis S. Gavitt, 83, died Wed., March 9, 2016 in her beloved home after a short illness. Phyllis was born on Jan. 25, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Bernard and Lillian Schatz. She was a resident of the Stockade for 52 yrs. She was predeceased by son, Clifford (Sandra), and is survived by son, Kevin, sisters, Janice (Marge), Linda, and Sandy, grandkids, Jessica and Rebecca (Corey).
