Schenectady-Regina M. Glowacki Godlew of Schenectady, formerly of Scottsdale, Arizona, died on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Ellis Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Schenectady and graduated from Mont Pleasant High School. Regina was associated with her husband's home construction business as home decorator and in sales. She was a member of the Schenectady Realtor's Association, NARFE and AARP. Regina retired from the Federal Treasury Department, Internal Revenue Service, Phoenix Office, District of San Francisco, CA. She was a former member of St. Theresa Church in Phoenix, and a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Schenectady.
Regina was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, John F. Godlew in 2005.
Survived by several nieces and nephews; grandnephews and grandnieces; also several cousins in Amsterdam and Tempe, AZ.
A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St. ( at McClellan St.) Schenectady, followed by a committal service at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna at 11:30 AM with Rev. Richard Carlino officiating.
