Niskayuna, NY. Attorney Roger L. Dworsky died Wednesday, February 3rd in his home. Born in Springfield, Mass. in 1951, he was the son of the late Paul and Marcia Dworsky of Schenectady.
He was a graduate of Ithaca College and Albany Law School. Roger was instrumental in the early development of Capital District Off Track Betting as General Counsel. He later served the community in private practice and was a strong advocate for family services and the less fortunate.
He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Dworsky Zisler and Jaime Dworsky Mattice, his sister, Ava Dworsky Quinn and his 2 brothers, Bruce and Adam Dworsky. Roger touched the lives of many in the community with his big heart and compassion, and will be sorely missed.
Services will be held on Sunday, February 7th, 10am at Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union Street in Schenectady.
