Schenectady - Stella M. Pallotolo, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
Stella was born in Broadalbin, NY to the late Stanley and Nellie Szuty.
Stella was a homemaker and a selfless, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. While raising her family, she worked tirelessly at many local restaurants and later retiring from St. Clare's Hospital. Stella was an amazing cook and welcomed everyone to share a meal. She loved flowers, gardening, bird watching and spending her time in solitude at the family farm. Anyone who was fortunate to know Stella described her as a kind-hearted and loving woman. She is predeceased by her loving husband James A. Pallotolo, Sr. whom she married on May 8, 1949. She is also predeceased by her son Michael Pallotolo, her brothers Stanley and Raymond Szuty, and her sister Lucy Sandy.
Stella is survived by her children James (Kathy) Pallotolo, Jr., Diane (Louis) Lezzi, Angela (Terry) Miller, Joanne Schillaci (Michael Zuglan) and daughter-in-law Cathy Pallotolo. She is also survived by her grandchildren Dana (Robert) Hotaling, Lindy (Scott) Brickner, Heather (Patrick) Flynn, Shaun (Lea) Miller, Sarah (Patrick) McPartlon, Nicole Pallotolo, Alicia (Bret) Powers, and Melissa Salamone, her great-grandchildren include Luccabella and Gianna Hotaling, Louis and Olivia Brickner, Sophia and Fiona Flynn, Reese McPartlon, Christian Miller, Natalie Powers, and Jaxon Ives; sister Vera (George) Salamone. Services will be private.
