Terri L. Wyman, 55, of Niskayuna, NY passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday January 10th, 2016.
Terri was born on March 18th, 1960 in Springfield, VT. She graduated from Niskayuna High School in 1978 and Maria College with her Bachelors in Nursing. Terri worked at The Avenue Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, starting as a CNA in 1988 and retired as Director of Nursing in 2008. She was diagnosed with ALS in 2005 and has courageously fought the battle for 10 years.
Terri is survived by her loving husband, LeRoy "Buddy" Wyman III,children, Amy (Kevin) Bogus, Melissa (Kyle) Peters, Michelle (James) Rearic, Joshua (Beth) Wyman and 4 grandchildren, Christian, Hailey, Reagan and Roy and her cat, Bruno. She is also survived by her parents, Robert F. Schlieman, and Teresa (Donald) Miller, her brothers Robert (Janet) Schlieman II, John (Estelle) Schlieman, Ken (Marie) Miller, Alan (Cindy) Miller.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the St.Peters ALS Center, the Niskayuna PBA, Dr. Roberta Miller of Homemedical Administrative Associates, and the Schenectady VNS, especially Melissa Coyne, for all of their support and dedication.
Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service Thursday January 14th at 11:00am at the Niskayuna Reformed Church, 3041 Troy Schenectady Rd. Private burial will be held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the St.Peters ALS Regional Center at 19 Warehouse Row Albany, NY 12205.
