Schenectady - Thomas M. Bezio, 66, of Schenectady, was stricken and died at Ellis Hospital on Sunday, December 14, 2008.
Tom was born in Schenectady, son of the late Clarence and Jane Hanrahan Bezio. He was an Army Vietnam Veteran and a Truck Driver for Teamsters Local # 294 for 25 years and worked in the same capacity for NYS Office of General Services for 3 years. Tom was a member of K of C of Niskayuna, Local 294 Retired Club, American Truck Historical Society and a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Survived by his wife, Catherine Galaise Bezio. sister in-law Diane Nappi and her husband Carl; nieces Dana Renda, Michele Saffer, nephews Robert Nappi, John Nappi, Christopher Nappi and several grandnieces and grandnephews; cousin, Kathleen Caurse of Little Falls, NJ. Predeceased by his brothers James S. Bezio and John H. Bezio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Lafayette St., Schenectady. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady, Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in Tom's memory to The Animal Protective Foundation of Schenectady, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302.
