Thomas Maloney

December 17, 1937 — April 24, 2010

Thomas Maloney passed away peacefully on April 22, 2010 surrounded by loving family members. Born to loving Irish parents Charles and Jeanne Maloney in the Bronx on December 17, 1937, Thomas lived a life with the greatest of hearts, the sharpest of minds, the purest of spirits and the best laugh on the planet.
Thomas spent his life dedicated to those he loved. With a full heart he lovingly and tirelessly provided for his family: his wife Donna; his sisters Jeanne, Charlene, Eleanor and Claire; his brother William; his daughters Jeanne and Maura; his daughter Deirdre and her husband Jason; daughter Kim and her husband Jon; daughter Jennifer and her husband Dave; and the four grandchildren who lit up his life each and every day: Shawn, Tyler, Hope and Hailey. He also leaves behind hundreds of family, friends and acquaintances, all who are better off from having known him.
Always the consummate salesman and class act, Thomas had the unique ability to authentically engage everyone with whom he came in contact. He spent the majority of his successful career proudly working as salesman and manager for Scott Paper Company. He was also proud to have counted among his accomplishments his service in the National Guard and his 33 years of devotion to the friends of Bill W. Thomas' sharp wit kept those who were lucky enough to know him entertained, creating memories that will last well beyond his lifetime.
An hour of calling will be held this Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 1-2pm at the Niskayuna Reformed Church, 3041 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Niskayuna, NY, 12309. The funeral service will follow immediately at 2pm.
