Thomas James Vile, 40, of Niskayuna, NY, passed away on January 4, 2017.
Tom was born in Albany, NY on July 13, 1976. He graduated from Open Bible Baptist School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science from Trinity College & University.
Tom was married to Marilyn Brown on June 28, 2011; they were together 8 years.
Tom worked as the Linux and Security Systems Administrator at Trans World Entertainment for 5 years. He enjoyed playing guitar, basketball, videography, technology, liberal politics, travel and above all spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife, Marilyn, children Ethan (14), Elijah (11), step-children Caitlyn (11) and Alex (8), parents Tom and Juanita, sisters Tabetha and Jennifer, 10 nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Jones Funeral Home.
Calling hours are Tuesday January 10th from 4 PM to 7 PM at Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), in Schenectady.
The funeral service will be held at 10 AM, January 11th at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 1803 Union Street, Niskayuna with Fr. Robert Longobucco of St. Kateri will be officiating.
Burial will follow the funeral at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery immediately following services at the church.
