Rotterdam - W. Peter Wells 74, of Rotterdam, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, July 7, 2008.
Peter, born in Albany, was the son of the late Warren M. and Elizabeth Willoughby Wells. He was a graduate of Albany Academy For Boys, class of 1952, a 1956 graduate of Princeton University and a graduate of Union College in 1964. He was a member of the Alumni Associations of Albany Academy, Princeton and Union College. Peter was a Mathematics teacher at Albany Academy from which he retired.
Predeceased by his wife Joan Walmsley Wells on August 25, 2002, Peter is survived by a niece, Lydia Rieger of Birdsboro, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, July 12th at 10 AM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home for those who wish to call. Burial will be at Schenectady Memorial Park, Rotterdam following the service.
